What I’m doing now

I’m currently working with my classes on:

• Transformations with HPA Year 9.
• Fractions with LPA Year 8.
• Number, primes, factors, and related mischief with HPA Year 7.
• Fractions, decimals and percentages with LPA Year 7.

• Working on the TeachMaths.net Create systems.
• Trying to get good KS3–KS4 question-generator coverage before September.

Corn, pumpkins, broad beans, carrots, Jerusalem artichokes, potatoes, raspberries, strawberries, garlic, and bindweed (regrettably).

• Expanding Die Eurostadt, my cyberpunk megacity project built on the ruins of Amsterdam.
• Currently between RPG campaigns, but hoping to run a campaign in Die Eurostadt over the summer.

Currently reading Book 2 in the Rivers of London series by Ben Aaronovitch.

• Working on new music with a small, currently unnamed band.
• One song is tentatively called “Dangerous Ryan”, inspired by a character from a previous fantasy campaign.

• Technology in the classroom—how to keep it useful rather than distracting.
• AI and other generative tools for education.
• Measured political and current-events reflections.
• The state of the world, regrettably.
